"LORD, I wish..."

There was a time in my adult life.....when I was a part of a church in which we had most wonderful praise and worship, excellent and powerful preaching, and very Blessed Fellowship!!!  And we had many very young children in the church family.

During a particular morning worship service, I had this thought: "LORD, I wish that I had grown up in a Church like this!"

In His mercy, HOLY GOD,  our Father gave to me understanding..."I gave to you what you would need for the life that I have planned for you."   "Oh!!!  I was Struck by the Clear, powerful truth in what He said!!!  Truly, several times each week, I realize and experience the truth of that; and I again thank and Praise Him!!!

Because He is GOD..."He wrote down my every day before the day of my birth..." (Psalm 139:16); and "...He has good plans us." (Jeremiah 29!!); for He is able to do superabundantly, far over and above all that we (dare) ask or think [Infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams..."] (Ephesians 3:20/Amplified Bible).

Let Us begin to increase our dedication and submission to Him and to His plan for our lives so that we can share with others who are in need of His Great Love:

"Blessed be the GOD and Father of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the Father of mercies, and GOD Who is the source of all Comfort... (consoling, holding, Strengthening Presence, and Encouragement." (2 Corinthians 1:3/ Amplified Bible).

"Who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we may also be able to console and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort with which we are comforted by GOD." (2 Corinthians 1:3-4/Amplified Bible).

For GOD, our Heavenly Father says to us:

A. Definition: Comfort---(1)  (not casual sympathy) but rather deep empathy---like weeping  with those who weep.).  (Psalms 23:4/Strong's # 5162).                                                                              (2) Comfort of the HOLY SPIRIT: (Strongs # 3874) Paraklesis/"Par-Ak-lay-sis" - "A calling alongside to help, to comfort, to give consolation or encouragement. The Paraklesis is a strengthening Presence; Paraklesis (comfort) can come to us both by the HOLY SPIRIT(Acts 9:3) and by the Scriptures (Romans 15:6).

B."And He said: 'My Presence will go with you, and I will Give you Rest...(Exodus 33:14)/nu ach/"noo ahch"./Strongs # 5117).  "GOD"S Presence will give rest to His people, that is, His Presence soothes, comforts, settles, consoles, and quiets us." (Exodus 33:14/Strongs # 5517).

**** GOD'S Presence  can always be found in the Praises of His People!!!!!!!!!! (Psalms 22:3) ****

"And I will have Mercy on (him/her) " (Hosea 2:23)  Strongs # 7335,   RACHAM, ("rah-cahm").

"Have Mercy - to feel or show Compassion, to Love Deeply, to Tenderly Love (especially as parents love their infant child). "Racham" is the origin of the Hebrew word for a mother's WOMB.

God wants us to show Compassion toward all who are weak and defenseless. ( Isaiah 54:8-10)  

An additional insight/understanding that our LORD has added to this study:

(A) For every woman who has had an abortion ... GOD'S Mercy was there First!

(B) For every woman who wants to give birth to children but can- not... GOD'S Mercy is there!!!

Some more of GOD'S Wonderous Promises about HIS Mercy:

1)  "...for a mere moment I have forsaken You, but with Great Mercy I will Gather you ... with Everlasting Kindness   I will have Mercy on you," (Isaiah 54:7-8)

2) 

(Psalm 25:6) " Remember, O LORD, Your Tender Mercies and Your lovingkindnesses". 

3) "Blessed be the GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS, Who according to His Abundant Mercy has begotten us again to a Living Hope through the Resurrection of JESUS from the dead" (1 Peter 1:3).

4) "Through the LORD'S Mercies we are not consumed, because HIS Compassion fails not, they are New Every Morning, Great is YOUR  Faithfulness."  (Lamentations 3: 22-23).

Let us Remember that with GOD - What we give out - we get back multiplied! Plant 1 (one) seed of corn - you can get 1 (one) cornstalk- which will have several ears of corn- each of which will have hundreds of grains (Picture -"corn on the cob"). 

HOLY! HOLY! HOLY! From our Faithful Father!!! 

"... JESUS CHRIST --- For all the Promises of GOD in HIM are Yes and in Him Amen to the Glory of God through us."  (2 Cor 1:19-20).

O GOD MOST HIGH!!! MAY YOU RECEIVE EVER INCREASING GLORY as we Give out- and Live out- many, many MERCIES!!!!!!!!
