"IS    THERE    A    FAITH   THERE?

(Elijah and the widow)
I Kings 17:8-16.

"Then the WORD of the LORD  came to him (Elijah),
saying,
Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there.
See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you."

***Please, may I interrupt here for some "personal opinion"?

It seems to me that GOD is asking Elijah a QUESTION  with the
name of the city-----

ZAREPHATH-------"is there a faith (there)?'

Remember, GOD said 'See, I have commanded a widow to provide for you."
So he arose and went to Zarephath.  And when he came to the gate of the city,
indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said
'Please bring me a little water in a cup, that I may drink.

"And as she was going to get it, He called to her and said, 'Please bring me a
morsel of bread in your hand.'  So she said, 'As the LORD your GOD lives,
'I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar;
and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for
myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.'"

And Elijah said to her, do not fear, 'Go and do as you have said, but
make a small cake for me from it first, and afterward, make some for
yourself and your son.

"For thus says the LORD GOD  of ISRAEL:  'The bin of flour shall not
be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the LORD sends
rain on the earth."

"So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah, and
she and Elijah and her household ate for many days.

The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according
to the word of the LORD which he spoke by Elijah."

So, YES!!! there was a faith there!!!!
Both Elijah's faith, and the widow's faith (both) were strengthened.

The widow overcame her fear, responded in faith, and GOD was faithful
to His promise!!!

"If we are faithless..., He remains true (faithful to HIS WORD AND HIS
RIGHTEOUS CHARACTER) FOR HE CANNOT DENY  HIMSELF.
(II Timothy 2:13/Amplified Bible)

"For the SON of GOD, JESUS CHRIST---FOR ALL THE PROMISES OF GOD
IN HIM ARE YES, AND IN HIM AMEN, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THROUGH
US." (II Corinthians 1:20)

How about YOU---Where YOU are going------ZARAPHATH?
(Is there a faith there?)

Take YOUR faith with you---
and SHARE IT!!!!!!!!!

FOR THE GLORY OF JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOLID   CERTAINTY!!!!!!!

In these days with the economy going up and down, rapid culture changes,
"uncertain future".....danger in our travel,  Busy, Busy lives-----
We ALL need a sure and stable foundation!!!

JESUS CHRIST IS WHO WE NEED!!!!!!!

Thousands of years ago GOD spoke through Isaiah:

"Therefore thus says the LORD GOD:
'Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation,
A Tried stone, a Precious Cornerstone,
A SURE Foundation...' "  (Isaiah 28:16)

A) STABLE: "...And she (Mary) brought forth her
firstborn Son, and laid Him in a MANGER,
because there was no room for them in the inn, (Luke 2:4-7)

B) "She laid Him in a manger..."
"Manger---a feeding trough in a stable,
(designed to hold food for livestock)."

He (JESUS said: 'I AM the living bread which came
down from Heaven.  'If anyone eats of this bread,
He will live forever..." (John 6:51)

***("eats of this bread"  means to come to
Jesus and believe in Him.)

###  Isn't it interesting that JESUS, the "Living Bread
that came down from heaven"---was [placed in a
FEEDING trough (manger) [Luke 2:4-7]

STABLE (definition): "enduring, consistently dependable."

"JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND
FOREVER." (Hebrews 8:13 )

Le's see...did I  already mention that some people feel "uncertain"
about their future".........Let's see what GOD says about the future.........

hope, elpis ("el-peece"):  Strongs #1680: Hope,  "NOT in the sense of
an optimistic outlook or wishful thinking without any foundation,
But in the sense of CONFIDENT EXPECTATION based on
SOLID CERTAINTY.  Biblical hope rests on GOD'S PROMISES,
particularly those pertaining to JESUS  CHRIST'S return.
SO CERTAIN is the future of the REDEEMED that the
New Testament sometimes speaks of FUTURE events in the
PAST tense, as though they were already accomplished."

HOW AWESOME, O HOLY GOD, how awesome it is that
JESUS is the 'YES' and 'AMEN' to every promise of GOD;
(II Corinthians 1:20); and that HE (JESUS) who is "OUR HOPE"
I Tim. 1:1), never changes!!! (Hebrews 13:8)

"Paul, and apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of GOD
our Savior and the LORD JESUS CHRIS, our hope.) I Tim. 1:1.

BELIEVE IN JESUS!!!         FOLLOW HM!!!        REST IN HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW      GOOD      YOU      ARE!!!!!!!!

HOW GOOD YOU ARE, we don't yet know,
but when to heaven we do go,
we will know it is only by grace,
Could it be.........we will then see YOUR FACE?!!!?

We will get there in Faith (not by sight),
There is no darkness there, for The LAMB
IS the light!!! (Revelation 21:23)

Oh shine Your Face on us while we're still on earth (Numbers 6:23-27)
For Your Presence and Your WORD
Give us a Hunger and a Thirst.
Apart from YOU - We have no worth.

YOUR death on Your cross - paid for our new birth,
Your resurrection - Gave to us YOUR life,
Transferring us to Your kingdom of light!!!!!!!

Oh, for YOUR PRESENCE and Your Word,
Give us a Hunger and a Thirst,
Apart from You we have no worth.
that the PLUS SIGN OF YOUR CROSS t
Through our lives will display YOUR WORTH!!!!!!!
                                       (Revelation 5:12)

"THE   STATE   OF  CONFIDENCE---------
"A   PLACE   TO   DWELL   SAFELY  AND   IN   HOPE"

" The Beloved of the Lord shall dwell in  SAFETY by Him
who shelters him/her all the day long; and HE/SHE shall dwell
between His shoulders." (Deuteronomy 33:12).

SAFETY - betach   ( "beh-tach"); Strongs #983;
securely, in safety, confidently, in peace, trustingly;
the state of confidence, security, and safety
that BELONGS to those who TRUST and RELY
upon the LORD.

I confess that I NEED to dwell in this place, every day
and every night!!!

Of course, REPEATING this verse aloud  FREQUENTLY gives
the HOLY SPRIT opportunity to ingrain this truth
deeply in our hearts, spirit, minds, and to bring our
thoughts, feelings, words, and actions into alignment
with GOD'S TRUTH.

JESUS is "our hope" (I Timothy 1:1)!!!!!!!

"My BELOVED is MINE, and I AM HIS."
( Song of Solomon 2:16)

"The Eternal GOD is your refuge, and underneath are the EVERLASTING ARMS."
(Deuteronomy 33:27).

"I AM with you always." (JESUS) (Matthew 28:20)

Let us ride, and dwell, in safety and hope on HIS shoulders!!!!!!!

WHO    IS    MY    SHEPHERD???

"For   GOD  WHO said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts
so as [to beam forth] the Light for the illumination of the knowledge of the
MAJESTY and GLORY of GOD [as it is MANIFEST in the Person and is REVEALED]
IN THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST, the MESSIAH."  (II Corinthians 4:6 /Amplified Bible)

*** Yes, Please do read that verse (above) again. Thank you **

"The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not
lack.

He makes me to lie down in (fresh, tender)
green pastures; He leads me beside the still
and restful waters.

He refreshes and restores my life---myself.
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
(uprightness and standing with Him) -
for HIS NAME'S SAKE."

"Yes, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no evil: for YOU, LORD are with me.
Your rod (to protect) and Your staff (to guide),
they Comfort me.

You serve me a six course dinner -
right in front my enemies.
You revive my drooping head,
 My cup brims with blessing."
(verse 5 The Message)

Surely goodness, and mercy, and
unfailing love shall follow me  ALL
the days of my life; and through the length of days
  THE HOUSE OF THE LORD
And HIS PRESENCE shall be my dwelling place."
                                     (verse 6/Amplified Bible)

THANK YOU O LORD JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!

OK, now.....

1) read both Scriptures aloud to yourself, please and thank you!!!

2) Be RICHLY BLESSED,
     in JESUS' NAME!!!!!!!!!

HE IS "THE WORD OF GOD".  (John 1:1, 14/Revelation 19;13

HE IS "THE AMEN"  (Revelation 3:14/II Corinthians 1:20)

GLORY!!!  GLORY!!!  GLORY!!! TO JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!

"DAISY",   THE   BISCUIT,   THE LAMB,   AND   YOU (EWE)

Several yeas ago, As I was taking a walk on a road near our home-----
As I passed by a small house, I heard a voice calling out...
"Daisy!  Daisy!  I've got a biscuit for you, can't you see?!?  Come on!!!

When I looked around, searching for the source of the voice.....
I spotted a small young girl, with black, curly hair, approximately 6
years old.

The little girl was standing by a pasture fence which bordered her front yard.
She was calling to a flock of sheep which was grazing on the grass at the far end of the pasture.

As she (continued) calling out (Daisy! come on!!! I have a biscuit for you, can't you see?!?)...
....Soon the entire FLOCK came to her; and to as many who came CLOSE to her---she gave
to them portions of biscuit!

I could think only of JESUS CHRIST..... the GOOD SHEPHERD (John 10:11) calling to EACH
and ALL of us ( in  John 6:49-59):
"I AM THE LIVING BREAD WHICH CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN." (John 6:51).........
"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.

"Whoever eats My Flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
(John 6:53-54)

To "eat the flesh" of Jesus, and to "drink His Blood" are to be (understood spiritually)!
The expressions point to the violent sacrificial death He would suffer, and the necessity of
believers (partaking) of the BENEFITS of His death - Coming to Him and BELIEVING in Him.
[To believe in Him  - means to Partake of Him].

He says to ALL of us:
"I am the living Bread which came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of Me (THIS BREAD),
He will live forever (John 6:51).  He says this to ALL of us - because after we are saved, He wants
us to  partake of  EVER and EVER MORE of Him!!!

"...that you may have the RICHEST MEASURE of the DIVINE PRESENCE..." (Ephesians 3:19/
Amplified Bible)

"O come,, and let us worship and bow
down,
Let us kneel before the LORD
our Maker,
  For He is OUR GOD,
and we are the people of His pasture,
and the sheep under His care."
(Psalm 95:6-7)

"...John saw Jesus...and said:  'Behold! The Lamb of God
Who takes away the sin of the world!"

Is YOUR name "Daisy"?  If YES, or NO........Come on!!! Partake of Him!!!!!

"Blessed is the one You choose and cause to approach You." (Psalm 65:2)

BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
