"DAISY", THE BISCUIT, THE LAMB, AND YOU (EWE)
Several yeas ago, As I was taking a walk on a road near our home-----
As I passed by a small house, I heard a voice calling out...
"Daisy! Daisy! I've got a biscuit for you, can't you see?!? Come on!!!
When I looked around, searching for the source of the voice.....
I spotted a small young girl, with black, curly hair, approximately 6
years old.
The little girl was standing by a pasture fence which bordered her front yard.
She was calling to a flock of sheep which was grazing on the grass at the far end of the pasture.
As she (continued) calling out (Daisy! come on!!! I have a biscuit for you, can't you see?!?)...
....Soon the entire FLOCK came to her; and to as many who came CLOSE to her---she gave
to them portions of biscuit!
I could think only of JESUS CHRIST..... the GOOD SHEPHERD (John 10:11) calling to EACH
and ALL of us ( in John 6:49-59):
"I AM THE LIVING BREAD WHICH CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN." (John 6:51).........
"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.
"Whoever eats My Flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
(John 6:53-54)
To "eat the flesh" of Jesus, and to "drink His Blood" are to be (understood spiritually)!
The expressions point to the violent sacrificial death He would suffer, and the necessity of
believers (partaking) of the BENEFITS of His death - Coming to Him and BELIEVING in Him.
[To believe in Him - means to Partake of Him].
He says to ALL of us:
"I am the living Bread which came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of Me (THIS BREAD),
He will live forever (John 6:51). He says this to ALL of us - because after we are saved, He wants
us to partake of EVER and EVER MORE of Him!!!
"...that you may have the RICHEST MEASURE of the DIVINE PRESENCE..." (Ephesians 3:19/
Amplified Bible)
"O come,, and let us worship and bow
down,
Let us kneel before the LORD
our Maker,
For He is OUR GOD,
and we are the people of His pasture,
and the sheep under His care."
(Psalm 95:6-7)
"...John saw Jesus...and said: 'Behold! The Lamb of God
Who takes away the sin of the world!"
Is YOUR name "Daisy"? If YES, or NO........Come on!!! Partake of Him!!!!!

WHO ARE YOU ????!!!
"Now this is the testimony of John (the Baptist),
When the Jews sent priests and Levites from
Jerusalem to ask Him, 'Who are you"?
He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed
"I am NOT the CHRIST.'"
"And they asked Him-----'Are you Elijah'?
He said 'I am not.'
What then? Are you the Prophet?'
And He answered, 'No''
"I Baptize with water, but there stands One
among you whom you do not know.
"It is He who, coming after Me,
is preferred before me-----whose Sandal
Strap I am not worthy to loose." (John 1:19-27)
"When the messengers of John (the Baptize)
had departed, He (JESUS) began to speak to
the multitudes concerning John: 'What did you
go out into the wilderness to see? A reed
shaken by the wind?...
'But what did you go out to see? A prophet?

not 'worthy to loose Jesus' sandal strap."
Jesus spoke very HIGHLY of John.
If you and I do what Jesus commands us---
He calls us "Friends." (John 15:14/above)
JESUS (IS) the Truth (John 14:6) and He
SPEAKS the TRUTH. the Holy Spirit
"guides us into all truth." (John 16:13)
This summer, as we (loosen the strap on
our sandals, and as we take off our shoes---
Let's remind ourselves:
"Lord, please guide and enable me to (THINK), AND (SPEAK)
of ourselves, and all others-----as Jesus does.
JESUS CALLS US His "FRIENDS".

"CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD!!!!!!!
In years past, my Wife (Mary) and I --- on the First Friday of each month --- would fast until late
afternoon, praying for the USA, and for our Government Officials.
After the conclusion of prayer, Mary and I usually drove to Atlanta to eat at a restaurant.
On a particular First Friday a few years ago, during prayer - Our LORD gave me understanding
that we were NOT to go "in the usual direction" after prayer.
From that, I concluded that we were to go back (northward) - in the direction toward our home
near Cleveland, Georgia.
So as we drove back toward home, I began thinking of restaurants at which Mary and I could eat in Cleveland - asking our LORD (at WHICH restaurant He wanted us to stop). All of them I asked
Him about --- the answer was "No", so we continued PAST our home, further northward.
Finally, at a local restaurant several miles north of Cleveland --- The LORD gave me peace about
stopping and eating at "Turner's Corner Café".
We had a good meal there, prayed for all the people that we saw there, and went home.
As I continued praying about this for a few days, our LORD gave me more understanding of
what He was trying to teach me: (Please bear with me, as I try put it into words):
The understanding He gave to me was this message: "I know that if I told you to go to a specific restaurant to eat - you would have done that, and you would have prayed for the people there.
" But I (GOD) want MORE than that with you. I want you to HAVE ONGOING CONVERSATION with ME."
And HE added to my understanding - "If you are already talking WITH someone - then you
(already) have their attention, and thus they can hear you more readily and clearly. When you ask someone a question - you are already LISTENING for their answer!
Our example of this principle..,? JESUS CHRIST!!!
While on earth, He was constantly in touch with His FATHER---
A. " Then Jesus answered and said to them: Most assuredly, I say to you, the SON can do nothing of
HIMSELF, but what He sees the FATHER do, for whatever HE does, the SON also does in like manner." (John 5:19)
B. " ' I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things' ". (John 8:28-29)
C. "For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the FATHER Who sent Me gave Me a command, What I should speak!" (John 12:49-50)
Let us all (continually), MORE and MORE ask our HOLY GOD to enable us to have
ONGOING CONVERSATIONS with HIM!!!!!!!!!
And let us ask the HOLY SPIRIT to "...guide us into all the truth..." of this- as Jesus speaks (in
John 16:13).

"WATER VAPOR, LIGHT, ------ AND YOUR BACK!!!!!!!
A TRUE STORY THAT HAPPENED TO A DEAR FRIEND---
My dear friend (we will call her "Amy") was going through a very difficult time in her work.
Early one morning as Amy was driving to work, there was a very dark rainstorm in front of
her.
After driving for a while toward that storm, Amy noticed a RAINBOW in front of her, near the storm cloud. She sensed that she was to look BEHIND her. When Amy turned around and looked-----
She saw the sun SHINING BRIGHTLY on her back!!!
Amy sensed that JESUS was saying to her - "Yes, there is a storm ahead of you --- but I'VE GOT YOUR BACK!!!!!!!
JESUS CHRIST --- "..the chastisement (punishment) necessary for our peace was put upon Him, and by His Stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5).
In His being "scourged" JESUS received CRUSHING, FLESH-RIPPING blows upon His back - for OUR PEACE AND OUR HEALING.
The rainbow is a sign of GOD'S PROMISES. (Genesis 9:13-17)
JESUS CHRIST is the "YES" AND "AMEN" for EVERY PROMISE OF GOD!!! (II Corinthians 1:20)
A rainbow is composed of water vapor, light, and THE HOLY, FAITHFUL, INFINITE, INTIMATE LOVE OF GOD!!!!!!!!!
Who would choose something so temporary, so ephemeral as "light and water vapor" to bear the weight of HIS PROMISES???
HOLY! HOLY! HOLY! GOD-----Who chose HIS SON JESUS CHRIST ["I am the light" (John 8:12)]...to bear the weight of OUR SINS on His cross....
HOLY! HOLY! HOLY! indeed!!!!!
Let us bow our hearts and WORSHIP the ONE WHO IS WORTHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am...THE WAY!!!...(and the TRUTH...and the LIFE)!!!!!!!
[The Son of God (Yahweh) is JESUS - "THE WAY!!!!!!!
In this, the 6th "I AM" in the book of John,...it is a three-fold announcement.
In saying "I AM the WAY", JESUS is NOT giving the directions from one location to another location.
Instead, He is giving us directions to Father GOD,S HEART, and declaring that HE (JESUS)
is HIMSELF the LIVING PERSON that will take us there!!!!!!!!!!
Again, this is a three-fold Declaration. The last two expressions explain the sense in which
Jesus is "THE WAY"-----to the FATHER:
JESUS is the TRUTH about GOD, and the VERY LIFE OF GOD. As such, He reveals TRUTH to us, and GIVES LIFE to us!!!
John 17:8, 11 -
"Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.'
"Jesus said to Him, 'have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip?
"He who has seen ME has seen the father; so how can you say 'show us the Father'?
"Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in ME?
"The words I speak to you - I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father Who dwells
in Me does the works.
"Believe ME that I am IN the FATHER and the FATHER IN ME, or else believe Me for the sake
of the works themselves."
(Psalm 25:4-10)
"Show me Your Ways, O LORD;
teach me Your paths.
Lead me in Your Truth and
teach me,
for You are the GOD OF MY SALVATION;
on YOU I wait all the day."
"Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore He teaches sinners in the way,

and the humble He teaches His way."
"All the paths of the LORD are
mercy and truth,

EDGES - WHISPERS - HIS POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Saying with a loud voice:
WORTHY is the LAMB WHO was
slain,
To receive power and riches and
wisdom,
and strength and honor and glory
and blessing!.....
"Blessing and honor and glory
and power
be to Him who sits on the throne
and to THE LAMB, FOREVER and
ever!" (Revelation 5: 12-13)
Yes, (INDEED), GOD is WORTHY to receive ALL praise, worship, and thanksgiving!!!
HE is also to be reverently feared.
HE is " "HOLY!" "HOLY!" "HOLY"!!! (Isaiah 6:3)
JOB learned that!!!!!
After GOD spoke to JOB.....
JOB responded:
"I have heard of YOU by the
hearing of the ear,
But now my eye sees You.
Therefore I abhor (despise, think nothing) of myself,
and repent in dust and ashes." ( JOB 42:5-6)
"Behold the reverent (awe) fear of the LORD is wisdom,
and to depart from evil is understanding." (JOB 28:28)

HE is " "HOLY!" "HOLY!" "HOLY"!!! (Isaiah 6:3)
JOB learned that!!!!!
After GOD spoke to JOB.....
JOB responded:
"I have heard of YOU by the
hearing of the ear,
But now my eye sees You.
Therefore I abhor (despise, think nothing) of myself,
and repent in dust and ashes." ( JOB 42:5-6)
"Behold the reverent (awe) fear of the LORD is wisdom,
and to depart from evil is understanding." (JOB 28:28)
"Man's frailty and GOD'S MAJESTY"!!!!!!!!
"The dead tremble,
Those under the waters and those
inhabiting them.
Sheol (the place of the dead) is naked before HIM,
and destruction has no covering,
" HE stretches out the north over empty space;
He hangs the earth on nothing.
"HE binds up the water in His thick
clouds,
Yet the clouds do not break under it.
"HE covers the face of his throne,
and spreads HIS cloud over it,
HE drew a circular horizon on the
face of the waters,
At the boundary of light and darkness,
"The pillars of heaven tremble,
and are amazed at His rebuke.
"He stirs up the sea with His
power,
"And by His understanding He
breaks up the storm.
"By His Spirit He adorned the
heavens,
His hand pierced the fleeing
serpent,
Indeed these are the mere EDGES
of HIS Ways,
And how small a WHISPER we hear
of HIM!
But the thunder of HIS POWER WHO
can understand?" (JOB 26: 5-14)
Let us INDEED be in reverent awe of HIM!!!!!!
"The (reverent) fear of the LORD is the
beginning of wisdom;
A good understanding have all those
who do His commandments.
His praise endures forever."
(Psalm 111:10)
"...CHRIST JESUS.-...became for us wisdom from GOD..." (I Corinthians 1:30)
By the HOLY SPIRIT- Let us follow JESUS -
and DO HIS commandments!!!!!!!!!
