"GOD'S Covenant with Adam and Eve contains two (2) inter-dependent Provisions: Descendants and Dominion.

"Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD..." (Psalm 127:3). That means that children, and others needing our care, belong to GOD; they are "ours" only in a Secondary sense. GOD gives children to parents; and in HIS Perfect love --- HE sometimes gives older parents to their adult children so that adult children can take care of their own parents when needed. It has been for me a Blessed personal experience to help take care of my Mother and both parents of my Dear wife Mary. (There were some difficult times, but GOD'S Grace prevailed through it all!!!
JESUS wants us to NOT despise (think little of) those who need our care...but to Always Remember that They belong to HIM!!!
KNOWLEDGE OF GOD: When "English speakers use the word for "to know", we think of our mental grasp of "facts". In Hebrew, however, the word for "to know" ("Yadah"); is much BROADER in scope and will ENRICH our understanding of the Scriptures. Rather than just knowing Information, the Hebrew idea of "yadah" stresses Knowing - from Experience and Relationship, and Acting on that Knowledge.
This idea is Especially Important when we learn about the Biblical concept called the "Knowledge of GOD" (da'at Elohim). We as Westerners may think this means - to prove GOD'S existence and establish a theological model to Explain GOD'S nature. But the HEBREW view is that "Knowledge of GOD" is having a life in Relationship with HIM.
Hebraically, knowledge is not just knowing who someone is, it is DEVOTION to them as well. Jews see Knowledge of GOD as Intimacy with GOD, Knowing HIM as a son does his father, and a wife knows her husband." (Listening to the language of the Bible- hearing it through JESUS' ears). HOLY GOD OUR FATHER KNOWS/EXPERIENCES US. HE is Intimately aware of, and cares Deeply about our feelings, needs, pains, fears, sorrows, and joys!!! HE knows and understands our every thought, and the words that we speak. (Psalm 139:1-24).
Our every breath and heartbeat is a GIFT from HIM!!! Because HE neither sleeps nor slumbers - "HE WHO keeps Israel (all of His people) shall neither slumber nor sleep." (Psalm 121:4).
HE KNOWS all that we experience and HE continues to love us with HIS Ever-Present, Unchanging, Everlasting, Perfect Love!!! "He will complete the work that HE has begun in us..."(Philippians 1:6). "HE always has Plans for good for us, plans to give us a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11, 31:3, Psalm 139:1-24). ALWAYS!!! Because HE declares in Malachi 3:6: "I AM THE LORD, I DO NOT CHANGE."
We as Care Givers, AND when we are Receiving Care---we are to FEED INTO our relationships - "Fruit of the SPIRIT: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness Gentleness, and Self-control." (Galatians 5:22-23).
In Psalm 37:3-4, our HOLY FATHER GOD directs us: "Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land and Feed on HIS Faithfulness. Delight yourselves in the LORD, and HE shall give you the desires of your heart."
"Feed on HIS Faithfulness" --- As We feed on HIS Faithfulness--- we will always have a FEAST ---Because "HE is Faithful to HIS WORD and to HIS RIGHTEOUS CHARACTER - (Because) HE Cannot Deny HIMSELF." (2 Timothy 2:13).
